Pressure Mounts on Valverde

Barcelona have drawn 0-0 against Slavia Prague in the easiest fixture of the group. Barcelona had a terrible game and this puts more pressure on Valverde as he would have hoped to bounce back after the defeat against Levante.


The first half was all Slavia Prague they attacked the barcelona defence thoroughly and with intent. They even had a goal called of rightly due to offside.Barcelona only had one spark of light in the first half and were pretty desperate all round. They didn't show any composure on the ball and the midfield was pretty non existent throughout the match. Messi was the lone player in the pitch that showed intent and went absolutely ballistic. He tried to score,assist and create all by himself. Numerous Barcelona players were underperforming throughout the match such as Pique, Dembele,Busquets and Griezmann.

The substitutions of Valverde hardly had an Impact in the game. Rakitic was poor and did not show any intent of winning.Roberto tried but couldn't create chances for his teammates.Ansu fati tried his hardest and was the only one who was producing something for the attackers to feed of. After this series of results both the board and the manager have a lot to answer for.

B arcelona are one of if not the biggest club in Europe and the world but in the seasons gone by Barcelona have changed from a team to a one man show.That has also concluded in failing in Europe even though they are termed as favorites in champions league.
