Barcelona have drawn 0-0 against Slavia Prague in the easiest fixture of the group. Barcelona had a terrible game and this puts more pressure on Valverde as he would have hoped to bounce back after the defeat against Levante. The first half was all Slavia Prague they attacked the barcelona defence thoroughly and with intent. They even had a goal called of rightly due to offside.Barcelona only had one spark of light in the first half and were pretty desperate all round. They didn't show any composure on the ball and the midfield was pretty non existent throughout the match. Messi was the lone player in the pitch that showed intent and went absolutely ballistic. He tried to score,assist and create all by himself. Numerous Barcelona players were underperforming throughout the match such as Pique, Dembele,Busquets and Griezmann. Ansu Fati the young Barcelona starlet has absolutely obliterated la liga records. Just a couple of weeks ago he was the youngest ever Barcelona starter. In the next match he broke the la liga record of the youngest goalscorer in the league and this week he broke the record of the youngest player scoring and assisting in a single match. The confidence the youngster exhibited in the camp nou was commendable and he showed real flair and pace during the game. Ansu fati remember the name just a week ago a 16 year old boy made his barcelona debut making him the 2nd youngest player in barcelona history to make a first team appearance. Just after a week from that historic night fati has made another historic record. M anchester city are starting the season as favourites for the English premier league they are challenged by Liverpool who won the champions league last season. Last season the premier league experienced one of the best title races in a while with Manchester city just edging Liverpool by a point.The battle raged on till the last matchday of the premier league and city were finally crowned as the champions. This season however Liverpool have not strengthened and it wouldn't be wrong to say they don't have the same type of bench strength as Manchester City and it looked more like Liverpool overperformed last season. They had a lot of lucky breaks last season such as the late winner against everton which was caused by a goalkeeping howler by Jordan Pickford and a lot of penalty calls going there way.
