Players Manchester United need to buy to challenge for the top 3

Manchester United arguably the biggest club in world football. Currently Manchester United are struggling to break in the top 4 in the Epl but these signings could help them break into the top 4 and even challenge Liverpool.

  1. Saul Niguez: Saul Niguez is a talented player and an improvement on ander herrera who was their 2nd best midfielder and their most consistent player last season. Saul is a solid midfielder and would help form a good partnership with Paul Pogba. This would also help youngsters like Scott McTominay improve.
  2. Jadon Sancho: Jadon Sancho is an excellent upcoming talent who has improved a lot since joining BVB Dortmund. He is a creative right winger which United seriously lacks. even though United has a lot of options on the left wing they lack the same in the right wing department.Sancho who is currently 19 yo can solve this problem and can be a long term solution.
  3. Alex Grimaldo: Alex Grimaldo is a pacey left back and plays for benfica he offers a lot going forward and is a heavy contributor in attack.Luke shaw is a fine left back but Grimaldo would be a definite improvement over the player. It won't be an understatement to say that Shaw is the only weak link in the current united back line.
  4. Bruno fernandes: Bruno Fernandes is a great attacking midfielder and a player who excels in creating chances and scores a lot of goals for a midfielder. United are in definite need of such type of player as their midfield lacks serious creativity and often only look at paul pogba for inspiration.

Are Barcelona over reliant on Leo Messi?

B arcelona are one of if not the biggest club in Europe and the world but in the seasons gone by Barcelona have changed from a team to a one man show. That has also concluded in failing in Europe even though they are termed as favorites in champions league. Barcelona also has to consider life after Leo messi. Barcelona have invested heavily in their attack for the past couple of seasons bringing in the likes of Coutinho, Dembele,Griezmann. But the majority of the goals are still coming from their two forwards Messi and Suarez. Suarez has been in decline for the past two seasons and has lost in touch in Europe. He has scored only one goal in the 2018-19 champions league which is poor for a player of his caliber while messi scored 12 goals and had 3 assists far more than any other Barcelona players. New signings dembele and coutinho also did not enjoy the season where dembele had an injury hampered season, coutinho on the other hand had a disaster class as he was nowhere to be fou...

What does it mean for city? Man city really need to dip into the transfer market and get a new Centre back with company gone and not replaced and laporte out for a long time city has a shaky backline. Otamendi lost his head and gave two goal scoring chances .The third goal was an utter disgrace as Otamendi didn't even know a player was approaching him. City also need a long term replacement of kompany who left the club at the end of last season. Kevin de bruyne was subbed in during the second half but he couldn't seem to get city over th...
